About Yacan
Yacan is a smart lock solution designed to simplify property access for short term rentals and serviced accommodation. It enables secure, automated access through time limited codes that adapt to reservations, check ins, check outs, and cleaning schedules.
Once connected to RentalReady, Yacan synchronises your locks and automatically generates access codes for guests and operational teams. Codes are created and updated in real time based on reservation and mission details, removing the need for manual coordination.
With support for multiple locks per property and centralised control at office level, Yacan helps property managers scale operations while maintaining security and consistency.

Yacan and RentalReady integration
Once connected, Yacan allows RentalReady to manage smart lock access automatically for your properties.
Users connect an existing Yacan account to RentalReady and synchronise their locks from the Key management section. After authorisation, locks can be linked to properties and managed centrally.
Access codes are generated automatically for guest check ins and cleanings, following the same logic as other key management integrations. When multiple locks are linked to a property, a single code is created and shared across all locks for the same time range.
Codes update automatically if reservation or mission times change and are removed when a mission is cancelled. Guests can also access their code through a secure Yacan access link, which is visible in mission details and included in check in instructions.
Office level settings allow full control over code validity timing, ensuring access is aligned with your operational needs.
